A lyrical write (again!)

The Sun never cries out

To the cloud that bars it's light

It never even resists

Keeps on shining so bright

 

And the wind carries the leaves

High, so high above

Reaching out to the infinity

As we reach out for love

 

The things we never said

We never felt

We never cared about

In the whole of our lives

They seem to come up so easily

into our minds

It's time

To set the thoughts free...

 

You never look into the eyes

Which hides within, so deep

Secrets, so many truthful lies

Fighting to be noticed and seen

 

It's not so hard to love

To truly care for those who are

So deeply attached

Just like the sky to a star

 

The things we never said

We never felt

We never cared about

In the whole of our lives

I liked the little rhyme scheme! I absolutely loved the subject, too, because I feel the same exact way! (imagine that... lol)

A beautiful poem. Flow and story was very good. Better to tell the people we care we need them. Unspoken words mean little. I like the complete poem. Ending was perfect.
