Fright of the night

Its so dark.

Seems endless

Not boundaries to define it

And conceal within it

This un-illuminated piece of universe

I could have hoped for some bright sunshine beyond it

Yet, an exit seems so far away

Creepy freak-ish shadowy creatures

Their non-existent lurking

Frightens me

Lonliness is crushing upon my soul

If only there was someone

Anyone

To share this fright of the night with
