Prompt Poetry

Drown the sounds of a world forsaken,

Trap me into the paradise we create;

Drenched in the glow of your angelic halo,

Let those drops of passion fall on my face.

 

Push back all our bitter memories,

Of a thousand fostered sorrows;

Build, together, a distant vision,

Of a perfect tomorrow.

 

Let lose your dreamy desires,

Raw and undone, let them be;

Walk through the ruin of a life we've known,

Pick pieces together, to build a better dream.
