One Wish

I see that you’re happy,

I know it’s right.

Me and you were opposites,

Like black and like white.

I watch your progress day after day,

Amazed at your new lifestyle,

I feel obliged to say,

I love you, I do,

I know that what I feel is true.

If I was given one wish,

I’d wish you would love me too.
