Akin
A Poem by
Skybound
I imagined a human evolving into something else, still closely akin to human, but different enough to warrant its own name.
In the dark of night
I shed my shriveled skin
Born again, from human
To akin
More human, indeed
than i’ve ever been

Beautiful poem. I am thinking of vast meaning out of your writing. Great

My god, this is genius. Truly food for thought. This will linger on my mind for a long while. I especially appreciate the rhyming with "akin" and "been". Argh! This is too good to be free.
