Darkness

This is my first poem so bare with me!

I open my eyes only to reveal more

darkness. Who am I? Where I am is

like hell, only worse. I feel

tears streak down my face and my

body tremble. I cry out for help

but I only hear my pathetic cries

echo and slowly fade away. I can

feel the darkness begin to swallow

me. I try to keep it at bay but 

it does no good. I lost everything

my friends and family, but I know

its to late for remorse. I close

my eyes a surrender myself letting

the darkness swallow me whole...
