Rainbows can get lost too

I found a stray rainbow,

Stranded next to the road.

I gave it my back seat,

And it lessened my load.

I was driving as well on the opposite direction . When I saw you stopped . I was always admonished not to stopped let alone allow any hitchikers in, all complete stranger . The analogy of Rainbow being lost or stranded is quite interesting and captivating . I wonder if you have been traveling in a road. A long and winding road. No sense of direction and may have reach the point of no return and out of nowhere a rainbow came . You dont know but you took risk and invite it in . And somehow it lightened your load . The rainbow always refer to something after a perfect storm in our lives . There in that road or highway of life you found HOPE . They said that if a person has health he or she has hope . If a person has hope he or she has EVERYTHING. Very short piece and carefully chosen words and lines but speaks volume . Thank you for sharing .

i guess rainbows aren't just there after a storm to give us hope...we can also be there for them---works both ways as it does for people...one hand washes the other's---especially after a rain (trouble)----we get through somehow...even hitching a ride.

Captivating! I loved how you welcomed the "stray" colors, yet they comforted you. Sometimes we find blessings in places we least expect it to happen.
