What is Love?

Is it the warm embrace at the end of a long day?

Is it silent consolance?

Is it limitless admiration?

How do you know love?

Emotions can lie.

What you feel one day

may be gone the next

like it never existed.

I think i know

how you know

what love is

Just listen

Just look

just feel.

I really like how this poem begins questioning, and then looking at the negative, before answering. I like the second stanza the best. Asking how to know love is pretty gutsy. This poem is so real, true. thank you! It was calming just to read, if that makes sense.
