These crystal tears I cry:

piercing and yet so valuable.

I can feel you here and I know

That you are happy now.

I remember the way you laughed

And the way you were loved;

The smile that was always on your face.

Though your concrete life was too short,

You can never be with us too long

(Forever is not long enough)

We've wept for you

But I know that at some point we must dry our eyes

For you would have us face our lives

Bravely

With a bright, beaming smile.

You are in our hearts to stay.
