The parts she liked most in movies

Were the slow-motion shots,

                        When two friends—

                        Or lovers,

                        Whatever the case might be—

            Run towards each other

            With arms spread

            Eagle-wing-style

            And eyes beaming

            With happy tears

            And bright faces

            And—

And then one of them trips and falls down Snow-Angel-Style in the grass and lays there, freckled with dirt and grass and—

            And then the music keeps on

            Energizer-battery

            Going.

She loves those parts.

Ridiculous

And

Lovable.
