niiice. I love anything with chess references, and I'd politely differ with Mr. Legion down there who objects to the use of pawns: you couldn't play chess without pawns, and though they are the most numerous piece, they are in that sense powerful. And, are any chess pieces free? They go from box to board to prison to the box again.

I really like the rhythm of your poem and I'm sure would be great with music. It has a hidden message also I believe, which adds to the mystery of your nicely written poem or lyrics.

Not so sure about this. Pawns aren't usually considered free. I like the flow of it though and it probably would make a good song because of it. But I would rethink it just a bit about what I stated.
