Lizard MoonsA Poem by Andromedadoesnt make complete sense, but w/eAfter ours, When the light has faded into Nothing more than A pale lizard moon, Creeping through the sky, Spinning in your eyes. After ours, When— After our love, After our affair Has faded Like ashes Devoured by the gloom Of a coming lizard moon... After ours, When another hand you Bargain after, Another smile You try to steal. Of my heart, In this affair, You’ve had your fill. After ours, When I will pay the bill And will have Lonely days And lonely nights And lonely tears that fall at will And lonely lizard moons And you to kill. After ours, When you say goodbye Without a kiss And move on To find another mistress. After ours, When you leave me— When you leave me with You to miss And only the Lizard moon to kiss.
