Static

Static

A Poem by Andromeda
"

ooohburn! hahah

"

I try to trap this static—

Your static—

But it rolls out

Your mouth in

Your voice like

A tongue twister,

And screams through the air,

Bursting my ears.

I once

Thought it was a code—

A code for which

A key was somewhere sold.

I once

Thought it was me,

But now

Instead of hear,

I see.

You’re nothing but a

Broken radio

And all

You ever

Say

Is

This

Static.

Oh snap. This is a very poetic insult, I must say.
