This Laughing in the RainA Poem by Andromedaaaaaaaaah, love rainLaughing in the rain Never feels the same. I wish my life were always this Laughing in the rain. I wish the tears on my face, Were always never mine, Just the tears of the sky And my fear waving goodbye, Laughing in the rain. Wash away my pain, Laughing in the rain. Hair stuck to my face, The whole world Whimsical and perfectly Out of place. Feet sinking in the mud. Rain catching on my eyelashes And holding on. Feel my heart so soaking wet, And feel the shiver sprinkle through— I’m a fish that’s escaped the net, Toss me back in the sea again. I wish my life were always this Laughing in the rain.
