Meditation MountainA Poem by AndromedaThere is a place Where the moon Dares to go Cheek-to-Cheek With the Mountain In a Blue-sparkled Night Serenade, With a hundred voices Met in a steady hum— A circle round, Hearts beat a convivial, silent drum. There is a place Where hands encircle Fifty-nine years. Painted in the velvet sky: In one poetic moment, A decade and one year For me glide by. And on the way down from the Mountain, Stepping on Uncertain Stones, Feeling the mysterious whisper of Future Buzz inside your ears, And clinging to hands As you make your way down, Knowing that Years from now, The moon Will still dare To go Cheek-to-Cheek With the Mountain In a Blue-sparkled Night Serenade, With a hundred voices Met in a steady hum— A circle round, Hearts beat a convivial, silent drum: Everlasting.
