Seem to be

Never seen—

 

Or perhaps there was just

A whisper

Interrupting your gaze—

The maze the maze the maze:

Perhaps there was          Just        a

Whisper of a whisper interrupting your gaze

 

From seeing me

From knowing me

And the portrait that I long to be,

 

But for the moment

I am content.

Just seem to be

Never seen.

Content to bleed poetry.

 

Perhaps there is still a whisper, though.
