Love lives through all the years

It's a mystical love affair

Caught between empty pages of my book

You grabbed your pen the took a look

Before you decided to write in my book

we had some good times and some bad ones too

ever since the first time I set my eyes on you

I never wanted to make you blue

But the tears throughout the years came mighty quick

Distance between us we fell apart

Two hearts got broken

and that smarts

Mind Soul Hearts torn apart

Throughout the ups and down

we would fight not knowing who was right

Time wasn't on our side

Bad feeling didn't slide

It's a mystical love affair that died

No more places to run and hide

We both lost our pride

When our love connection was broken

And all the church bells were breaking

The sounds of love could not ring

the angels on high could not sing

There was no love in loveland tonight

It was an even split

for all the wrongs were not made right

There were no stars to wish upon

No Valentine Day card in the mail

This love was very stale

Like week old bread

left out in the open air

Not good for Bird nor man

The holy union was broken

The party of love forsaken

Two heart breaking

no Cupid's arrow to strike at midnight

No saving by the bell

This love was destroyed

The angels of love departed

spelled the end to this love affair
