Handle with Care (Grand Daughter)

Handle with Care (Grand Daughter)

A Poem by SmittyJas

At that first sign of falling in love
That certain look in her eye
That spells trouble with a capital T
And you start to wonder what your grand child will look like

From that first kiss at mid night
I see now 40 years later
The little sparkle in her eyes
That makes my heart light up inside

I fell in love the minute I saw her
With her tiny nose
and small feet
She look so dog gone cute

She made my heart beat
I teared up inside
I was full of pride
So happy for the parents whom from this day I will guide

too raise her up
So she knows she is loved
With all our hearts
To the end of the universe

As far as we can see the last star
Our loving light so shines
For Pa Pa's Girl
Will always be mine
