Cat on my Mind

I have pride

with my cat by my side

the cat is my guide

As we live side by side

She lends me an ear

When I have something on my mind

Got to let off steam

If you know what I mean

She is comfort she is my guide

I pet her on her chest

with strokes of my hands

She smiles when she can

The Cat on my mind

Is my favorite pet

She is cool and Kind

She's Mine all mine

She's Clean as a whistle

Licking her bristles

As she purr's and lies next to me

She's my cat with nine lives

and as fun as can be
