We went to see Romeo and Juliet

A first date inter counter

We went to the theater

to see a live play

It was Romeo and Juliet

a romantic tragedy

But we fell in love so instantly

The opera was great

the acting was fine

I got my film developed on time

We were in love 

by act 2 scene 1

Love was expressed

So eloquently

Star crossed lovers

anyone could see

this is what was happening to us 

in an instant moment

By the end of the play

I knew right then and there

I was going to love this woman

Till the day I died

As our eyes were wide open to the romantic tragedy ending
