Happy Harry the Hit ManA Poem by SmittyJasIn the land of the GangstersHappy Harry the hit man Was strolling in the park one day He had his three thousand dollar fee To gun down a fool like me But I was coy and shy I spit mud in his eyes His eyes got so bloodshot He could not see I had my bullet proof vest on That day no one was going to hit me I was not the bull eyes Happy Harry Thought I would be I carried my pride on my shoulder My heart grew large in my breast I had on my bullet proof vest There wasn't going to be a whole in my chest I was a person Happy Harry would miss He would have to strike me off of his list For I was in my prime Happy Harry should be doing time You know what he was trying to do to me was a crime I just wanted to teach him a lesson That I wanted to live to collect on my pension Live happily in my old age With Grand Kids and my daughters who love me But me and Happy Harry didn't see eye to eye As a lawman I know that was no surprise Old Harry was on the outside of the Law and I was paid to stop any criminal actions Now Happy Harry was public Enemy number one he thought he could out run me and have his fun There was a time I was out gunned But by now we evened the score No room the amateur in this fight I blow to the head and life is over and your under the ground But I would rather stick around To see Happy Harry in Sing Sing Would make my grin so wide that you got Happy Harry off the streets And All Law Men can get some sleep © 2015 SmittyJasReviews
