Wanting a love so special but I failed at life

Missing a love in my life

Someone I could call my wife

But losing at love

and all its luster

Little kisses that smother

Missing a woman to hug her

But lonely and alone

I struggle on and on

Dreaming of what could of been

and what went wrong

Love stays away

As I pray

For another chance

But no romance just good friends would do

Could that be someone as special as you

God says to have only one wife

But you can have many friends

and feel good about that 

no matter how things turn out

My life is better now

I have two daughter's

and three lovely grandchildren

I am happy to have friends

Just never want to fall in love again
