Marching as mortals in a saintly way

Giving up nothing in the games people play

All for nothing

Nothing for all

When we got our backs against the walls

No one is taller than the God of the skies

Watching him and wondering why oh why

No one can question the Lord of the skies

His was it the way of all

we must obey and gain knowledge

Of what is right and what is wrong

We must listen to the words of the God of the skies

What he has to say may catch us by surprise

In many ways he is our leader our hope and our love

I will always look up to the Lord of the skies

He is my one and only Lord

and I believe in his son

Jesus Christ is his name

Saving souls is his game

He has saved me for sin and death

and from forever damnation 

Giving to me everlasting life with him in his home called heaven
