Where are you?

 

when I cry?

 

don't you dare lie.

 

I'm alone, so I'm on my own,

 

You stand at the alter do you ever falter?

 

my heart is full of woe, your my dangerous foe,

 

You never let me know, why I was never enough

 

I act tough, but this is all so rough I have had enough.

 

give me a break I've had all I can take even as I lie awake

 

I think of the stakes, slithering toward me like a massive snake.

Loved how you wrote this line and the rhyming:
"You stand at the alter do you ever falter?"
and the line that follows after it as well "woe" & "foe".
and ooo that last line with the snake lolz don't like snakes to much but i do love how you used it:

It's always difficult to depend on a certain person who is never willing to pull through or be there for you. That person to be the one to bring you down and make you feel as if you'll never been good enough for them or even their friendship. I've been here, I'm still in this situation actually. It's not a good or healthy one, but it sometimes gets me through the day, looking back on it. It sometimes makes me think of deadly things, the things that no one would know I would even dare to think about...it hurts, but I never break down or cry about it...I stay strong for those around me.
