Succorless is the mind of thee

Succorless is the mind of thee

A Poem by Snivy12345
"

Emily Dickinson inspired poem

"

“Succorless is the mind of thee… “

Succorless is the mind of thee

From the book in my Hand

I have many questions-

Yet no Answers come at my demand

The knee imprints on my carpet-

Continue to Enveloped me

Maybe if I try harder

Thy spirit will come - come to set me free

Frail is the body of thee-

Broken and bruised

Like the sinful and Dreaded -the godly fruit

That leaves me bemused

Please come take me-

Enchanted gardens Await my soul

Until then

I shall remain succorless

Decrepit - but never whole
