A bridge that binds two hearts to one,

Has cracked from age, now and then.

The damage is done and should be shun,

From now on till moments end.

The first time I read this piece, I interpreted it as a love beyond repair; a love that should be tossed aside and forgotten. Then I read it again, and thought, Perhaps it is the damage that should be shunned. Damage CAN be repaired and worked on, "From now on till moments end." Very interesting write!
