Soul Dancer

Soul Dancer

A Poem by Mykall
"

A poem written before an event happened from experience, from relationship from intuition, the intuitive mind, one of the few that flow freely from start to finish, the dance was a beautiful expression and sweet release and beauty of spirit.

"
SOUL DANCER

"Listen"
as her heart sings
ambivalence
resounding like
angels sighs,
her music transcends
poetic beauty
and spills over
her cup brimming
with woes and woos
and whispered names
she used to know of pain

never called them friends

She dances like a dream hazed
with no definition
a ringed reflection on water
streaming like sun
through trees
dances past your consciousness
in slow motion fluidity
slight to touch
careful to contain
twirling silk temptations
drawing you deep inside her
womb
left you breathlessly abandoned

but not alone

she dances like a mystic wind
on a misty eyed morning
jealous with no leaves to flutter
terracotta stains on her feet
bound aimless
and soul searching
for somewhere
heavenly harmonious
finding joy in the many layers
of life peeled away
in the ripe offerings
in the hushed translucence
of her dying past
you witness
her soul surrendering
to the joy now free
in the form and motion
that your eyes have been
so blessed
to glean.
