Winter Rose

Winter Rose

A Poem by Somebrownnerd

It stills the heart to know,

That we drift about;

Our souls of snow.

Fragile, unique as flakes;

as we cover valleys, touched by crystal lakes.

Tranquilized by tender touch,

Dancing to brushing winds of luck.

Moving through each others powdered trails,

Hoping to settle;

Filling gaps where others failed.

Wont you be my winter heart?

No breeze, nor drizzle,

Will take us a part.

It stills the heart to know,

That we drift about;

Our souls of snow.

"Wont you be my winter heart?
No breeze, nor drizzle,
Will take us a part."...that's sweet, beautifully written.
