The deep green seaA Poem by someguy772SolitudeStanding at the edge over the cliff, Watching the crashing of the tide, my lonesome no one to confide, Looking up at the sky...... surrender, Put up that blank white flag, Watch out onto the deep green sea, God? Universe? Someone? Something? IS there anything else besides the breath in the lungs, or this panopticon of the mind It is just I, Out here in this deep green sea, on this strange rock called "Earth", Over the many planets, Even the grand cosmos, There is no comprehension, No way to illustrate, No way to articulate, The dread the coldness of solitude, Even in a room full of friends, or strangers alike, The solitude of being misunderstood is a pain almost unbearable, Not being seen, Even feeling like your own god has forsaken you,
