Cat Guardians

This was a quick writing prompt - Take an ordinary object, write down a few physical details using precise language, turn the object into something else and add a few sensory details explaining why.

This cat-adorned candle is really a liminal space. 

Bold feline warriors stand at the threshold between the known and unknown. 

A cat's nimble pawprints cementing courage on the surface of the buoyant curvature. 

Leaving behind a trail of individual pawprints that transform the uncertainty of the fevered rippled movements

Into scarlet waxcap colored blocks of courage.
