Give It Back, Please

Just a conversation between a boy and girl.

The  Boy...                                                                                               ...The Girl

 

He touches his chest                                                              She is beautiful, at best

Eyes downcast and wet,                                             Her smile one he won't soon forget 

His fingers splay over his heart                                         She never could stand to be apart.

It flutters and he sighs                                                       She stares evenly into his eyes

"Give it back

Just, please,

Give it back."

He stares into her eyes                                                  While she shudders and sighs

she smiles sweetly

and says-

"After you give me back mine."

I really like this, at first, I was going to just call it "The Boy and Girl" but thought it was um...bland, I guess. You know? Either way, let me know what you think please. :)
