Eyes of the Night

Beneath the shadows that haunt
And the Eyes of the Night
There is will there,
There is fright.

Under setting suns and worshiped clouds
 Dancing in and out of sight
There is Darkness,
And the Eyes of the Night.

Sleeping soundly, no fear here
Too young to understand despair
Innocence breaks, smoothly and right
All because of those f*****g Eyes of the Night.

It is a dark day, one fearful night
When the clouds cover the sun,
But deep inside, there is sight,
Unnatural and saving,
The powerful, beautiful Eyes of the Light.
 

Author's Note

The first two lines came to me in the shower- I guess that's where everyone gets their best ideas xD Anyway, I haven't written a decent poem in a while and fully seized the opportunity here, plus, anything to get rid of my headache. T.T this took my mind off it for a little while.

and yes pumpkin the shower is the most common inspiration place.

I like the Eyes of the Night and i love how you said Eyes of the Light. It sounded nice but if you could maybe edit it here and there. I think there are some typos and spelling errors. Thats it though. And i might be wrong because it just might be your writing style. Anyways good luck.
