 I am fading away

all this blackness around me 

how can I be safe this way,

when I can barely see?

I am fading away

bits and pieces taken here and there

When did I stray?

And how long have you been away from me?

I think I'll just fade away

even if I cease to be

I'll linger in your heart,

and you'll say 

I never left you then

I never left you then.
