Crystallized Souls

Is there a ground beneath my feet?

I walk on thin air.

Sand in the sky and the sky on the ground

you catch my drift, don't you?

The sun is fire, the sun is the water

the moon in the earth and the stars your eyes

all come together

fragmented and blissfully whole, 

fragmented and shards of living things

floating in ethereal space and time, among other things

crystallized souls of what they once were

and won't be again. 

 

Author's Note

Surrealism...poetry? *shrugs* No idea. I got the idea when I was reading this thing about souls and...I dunno, started with a title and worked my way through it, which isn't really something I usually do. Hope ya like it, leave a review on your way out :)

Complex and yet so complete is your imagry. Surreal is a perfect description of the work, and yet there are so many different ways to interpret the meaning.
