If I could fly away

if I could fly away I would soar today

if I could fly away I

I would drop feathers from the sky

and I wouldn’t worry about people seeing me cry

tears would be rain falling from the sky

but I’m anchored here, again, today

because as hard as I tried, I could not fly away.

I can relate to this poem. I want to fly away a lot because I feel as if I have no one there for me. I just wish that I had someone in my hometown to understand me. I liked it a lot. Thanks for sharing. :)
