Untitled 19A Poem by DarkPoet
This week I have sauntered around
Alone, a lost soul roaming a place where my living body lies underground From my house to the river bank to the quiet garden in town I have roamed. Then returned to the dark closet I have made my momentary home. Visibly hidden behind the beautiful smile, bright coloured dresses Surrounded by those wearing rose coloured glasses This week I have sauntered about from side to side Alone, roaming a place where the denial of my existence is always implied In conversations, pieces of advice and stories I'm expected to put on a happy smile and reflect the heaven's glory. So I crawl back into the cold warmth of solitary There like an abandoned child I let the tears flow freely © 2019 DarkPoet |
