Peace for you, but not for me was a very strong way to end a poem. I loved every word in this piece and another line I really liked was...........................
"When I forget, inside I die." It saddens my heart to know a person can feel so sad. This was a great write Aista Aini! thanks for sharing.

Beautifully written. Your work always moves something in my heart. Even if memories begin to fade, we never quite lose eachother. Like I said before, write down the little things you remember, a favourite perfume, sunday morning breakfast, an inside joke. It might hurt to think about, but it will help to preserve the memories. I love the line "Peace for you, but not for me." It gives it that spark of truth, that really close look at your soul. Good job.
Whether happy or sad, we cry reguardless. I call it washing the windows to the soul. Being a macho chap of course I never cry... unless peeling onions or the mammy tells me Im a lazy good for nothin little swine that I am!
I was actually thinking of Memories and it all fading this morning......i actually thought of writing something on that line......but uve done it so beautifully.........its like a gift to me this morning......
i especially love Peace for you, but not for me.....
your memories still remind you of what should be remembered by the other too......which makes ur face wet.....bringing u no peace......as ur memories ur thoughts.....should make u smile and laugh without having to make u cry....
I love both reading and writing. I have been reading for as long as I can remember, and I started writing about three years ago. I have been at it ever since.
