Parked CurbsideA Poem by DougI love sitting in the car at night.
driver seat madness
deafening- streetlight scene, silence noise ‘chest fall to rise then still, lips parted, hair a mess on the futon her curves in lamplight move my eyes earth-eyed smile kiss imprinted on me, true but what where when why how?’ rapid breath fogging in the aftermath of one concise moment of questioning reverie motion- tail lights here ere around street’s corner motion- key in the door and i’m home © 2009 DougAuthor's Note
