A Room Inside

A Room Inside

A Poem by SpaceCoastPunk
"

A song about my only sacred ground, my recording studio

"
There's a room inside
Four walls
I'm claustrophobic
The constant hum keeps me in a constant daze
No natural light
I feel safe
It keeps me hidden
My soul can fly free to help pursue it's ways
I always dig deep but contain
I never waiver
I've come to see this place as my only sacred ground
Protected from those unfit
Pushing dark agendas
Your noise is drowned out and replaced by the sound

It's my sacred ground
My only true refuge in this fucked-up world

See the shadows dance
With secrets safe
They're never talking
Vibrations cease to exit this place
You never feel alone
I don't know
It's just a feeling
Some haunted memories that just got misplaced
It let's you see inside of your mind
It's kinda scary
But what you bring back can help you to change
I always know I can go to my only refuge
I know it's hungry and it feeds off my rage
