Puzzle

Maybe you can relate?

I am a puzzle with one too many missing pieces,

Unable to be finished I wait to see how I will look,

Holding on only by hope, 

Hope that someday I will be put together,

A hope that lingers with me day by day,

My hope getting harder and harder to hold on with every passing day,

Day by day I loose more and more pieces,

Until the day arrives where I am but a single piece, 

Never to know how I'll look.
