o n e.A Chapter by Raven
I dropped the cigarette butt and stamped it out with my heel as I leaned up against the wall of the building. I was out of breath and shaking like a leaf on a tree; it had been a year, a whole year and I still bore the scars he put on me.
A year after my rape, and I was still traumatized; I had nightmares often and still cried myself to sleep. And the scar he put on me, I knew it would never fade despite anything the doctors told me - They could lie to me all day long; I knew it would never heal. I bit down on my lip and let my head drop, my white-blond hair falling around my face. I pulled up one corner of my mouth into a smile, feeling my lip ring tug. I lifted my head and sighed. Tonight was going to be a busy night. © 2010 Raven |
