Stop Time

Another personal poem of mine

 

I glance around and notice

My life is moving to fast

I need for time to just stop

So all these moments can last

 

My world is full of these changes

Changes I'm far from ready for

If only I could stop time

I then can choose my life's door

 

I wish time could stop

Then I wouldn't say my goodbye

To all the things that I love

We'll stay toghether, smiling at the sky

 

I try to hold on to these moments

but they are slipping far away

Nothing can grant my time's wish

For all my precious moments to stay

Author's Note

I was sad when I wrote this. Everything around me was changing and I didn't want the important things to go....like my friends.
