Holding Hearts

Beating fast
Beating slow
Beating together... as one whole
Never wanting the beating to cease
Slowly it starts to fade
The body starts to leave
Holding tightly
Never wanting to let go
Yet sadly it's now gone
It will be heard
It will be felt
Again
