Invisibility

Invisibility is something we can strive for everyday, but it's also something we never want to have happen...

Fading into the shadows

Feeling myself leave everyone's world

Living in my own

It saves me

Comforts me

Creates the courage that I need to overcome my own fears

They walk by and don't even acknowledge me

I am nothing

To them at least

Let myself blend back into the shadows

Let me become who I want to be

Not who they make me

Have me stand up to those who s**t upon the world

Let me become the "popular" one

The one who makes all others feel as I do

Right this moment

Let them feel my anger with their acts

Understand the emotions that keep me from showing my true self

How trust is something you should never give to someone that doesn't hold it like a treasure

Let them understand how that trust will never be theirs'

They haven't earned it

They never will
