Shadows

Shadows

A Poem by Hallow

Catastrophic hypodermic
Decaying outdated system
New ulterior agenda
A monochromatic prism

Looming, lurking transgressor
In and out of silhouettes
Glinting iris malcontent
Driving a dagger roulette

Ask me a question
I'll tell you no lies
But I'll leave out the details
So you won't suffer a rise

To dismantle, disgruntled
They're just words upon more words
They're just more fabrications
Of a mind truly blurred

“Ask me a question I’ll tell you no lies But I’ll leave out the details So you won’t suffer a rise” resonated with me. I would have preferred more punctuation, but I’m old school (and old). I was still able to follow though. Well done!
