Daydream

Daydream

A Poem by Hallow

Burn the bridge,
And bring the rope.
We're leaving now,
Stay out of scope.

We can just run,
And leave it behind.
A new life beyond
Devoid of time.

We can have bliss,
And feel all the joy.
Just take the step,
Engage the ploy.

The dream fades as
We remember fate.
We claw closer to
The reckoning date.

Our demons sprint
To catch their prey.
I'll stay, you go.
See you one day.
