A Poem by Hallow

Florida girls don't belong in Alabama ponds
They're a hurricane in Dixie Alley
A coral snake amongst the timbers.
They sway like palm trees in the pecans
And dance like a five minute storm.
Florida girls reek of orange blossoms
And Alabama girls are just azaleas.
And no, it seems Florida girls are the beach
And Alabama girls are the calm ponds.
All the same, they're both full of storms
A slow burn hurricane, a wild twister of love

This reminded me of the song, “Like a Hurricane”, by Neil Young. Some girls are like hurricanes. I like the comparison of Florida and Alabama girls in this piece. It was very well done. Thank you for sharing your writing.
