A Poem by Hallow

A candlelight seance
With dim shower lights.
My face in the mirror,
No, this can't be right.

Play all the main parts
In this slight masquerade.
Where kept all inside
My soul starts to fade.

The faeries conquer me
With their devilish charm.
Their taboo offers
Only bring people harm.

Dreaming of soft days
When songs are delight.
A cool, crisp fall air
To reset my long plight.

The chains clink loudly
In this self-imposed cell.
Just my captor and I
And together we dwell.
