I was never okay with distance,

Or the time.

Fewer conversations,no calls.

 When you stopped your feelings,

When you left.

I never wanted to be apart,

I wanted you from the start.

I was not okay

I am still not...

Still miss you to this day.

Moments,smiles and touch.

I miss them all,

I hate you,

I love you,it's you're fault.

You left me here,

I'm alone,

You can move on,but I'm in my own zone.

Time, distance...none of it really matters all that much in the healing of raw, open wounds. As long as we have memories of happier times with someone in our broken relationship, their touch, their scent, their very essence still lingers.

Hard to forget real love we had felt.
"You can move on,but I'm in my own zone."
I tell people. Love is hard. Need someone in the same place, with the same want and be in the right place. Hard to understand. When we hold love and the other person don't. A powerful poem with a very strong ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
