Life’s crisis #2 - Compressing Thoughts

white strings of wisdom begin to appear
Staring at your mirror
you begin to question everything you’ve done
45 years of stress and nothing has come

Individuals with families
look back and question nothing
Individuals with absolutely nothing
question everything

30 – 45
Example:

What have I done worth telling?
What prior events have given me satisfaction?
I’ve wasted half of my life on stupidity
Unknowing the wonders of happiness

Yet again, 15 years go by in a heartbeat
Depressed
Nail biting
Chest ripping
Heart attacks become a routine
Vocals fading
Bones aching

What to do?
What to do?

This is good. I am right there with you. Some times I wonder how come I am not rich or a movie star. or well known. But then I look at those lives and see how hard it is for them. always under a microscope. then I think to myself there is a middle ground...I have not found it yet...But there is a middle ground. I guess that is for all of us to find.

Ok yes, I feel this piece and yes your message couldn't be more true. What have you done today, that makes you feel good, that makes you want to tell the world?
Doesn't help looking back at times and moments lost, cause they are after all gone forever.

I loved the way you ended it with the raised questions- "What to do? what to do?"
